Awesome Vegan Firefighter Saves Tiny Lifeless Kitty

WE HEREBY BESTOW THE TITLE OF ‘SUPER AWESOME PUBLIC SERVANT’ to Cory Kalanick, theFresno, Cali. firefighter who revived a tiny kitten found laying lifeless inside a fire-damaged apartment.

Kalanick, a “eco-friendly vegan” and 10-year veteran of firefighting, caught the rescue on his helmet camera.

After being directed to look for salvage inside the burned property, Kalanick almost immediately spotted the tiny feline laying unconscious on the floor. He took the critter outside, poured water on it to cool it down and administers oxygen. Within 15 minutes the kitten was meowing his gratitude.

While the video has gone viral on YouTube, Kalanick admits he’s getting some teasing from his firefighting brethen.

“Either they razz me or give me garbage for it, but it’s a pretty cool thing that we were able to help the kitten out.”
