At last, we have the answers thanks to WotWentWrong, a new website that enables the dumped to discover why they were discarded by dumpees. The site acts as intermediary for love’s losers who want to feedback from the departed.
“Calling or emailing an Ex for an answer can be so — stalkery,” the website reportedly pitches. Why not use them as a “portal to finding out the truth in a socially acceptable way”?
Lucky for us all, and in particular, me, WotWentWrong released the results of more than 500 surveys completed by men and women users of its services. And what they discovered will shock — shock! — you. Well, not really, but it’s sure to amuse you as you sneak a peek at the web while at work. For instance: WWW claims the 10th most common reason why men discontinued women was because they were “too hairy.” The second most comment reason: bad hygiene!, while low sex drive lands at number 5 and bad kissing, number 8.
Among women, the fourth most common reason cited for dumping men is because they were “too short.” The survey doesn’t specify it’s referring to a man’s height or, um, other appendage. The second most cited reason: dietary habits differ too much, while the fifth most common reason is because the man “doesn’t earn enough for her desired lifestyle. No doubt, other “feminist” bloggers will gnash their teeth about the inherent sexism in women thinking they should be cared for. But I’m older and wiser and I say: that’s right, ladies, it’s the way of sociobiology and you want a man who can make a good living. That is, unless you’re 28 and enjoying the best sex of your life and you’re trading six figures for a six pack.
