YOU LIKE HIM! YOU REALLY, REALLY LIKE HIM!
K-Pop artist Psy, whose kinetic Gangnam Style has invaded pop culture at a staggering pace, has just become the world’s “most liked” music video on YouTube, toppling LMFAO from the perch, according to Guinness Records.
“In years past, it was unthinkable that something would be viewed a hundred million times, and now Gangnam Style has achieved more than twice this figure in just 3 months on YouTube,” Guinness World records community manager Dan Barrett said in a statement.
Psy’s thumping electronic diss of Seoul’s hoity enclave has racked up an astonishing 233,449,275 since it debuted July 15. That’s less than LMFAO’s Party Rock Anthem, which to date has 483,372,529 views.
But the K-pop hit has more Facebook likes — 2,282,240 million versus 1,576,452 for LMFAO’s megahit.
Following those monster hits are Goyte’s Somebody That I Used To Know, with 322,421,682 hits and 1,429,711 likes;
Justin Bieber’s Baby, with 1,328,814 votes up on 780,764,526 views;
And Adele’s Rolling In The Deep, collecting 1,246,948 likes on 331,726,066 views.
