THE MOOD IS GETTING HEAVIER AND HEAVIER ON Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and even with Adrienne gone this week, the tears, they are a’ fallin’.
Brandi is finished talking with Sheena, and it looks like the two have made peace. She sits down with Lisa for a drink to tell her how the talk went. Brandi starts crying when she tells Lisa how much the affair broke her, and Lisa even starts crying. After Lisa cheers her up by awkwardly patting her hand, Brandi jokingly asks if she likes Sheena more than her.
Yolanda and Kyle decide to try a recipe for a master cleanse, and Kyle pretends that she’s going to continue with it after she gets home. Apparently Kyle doesn’t find lemon juice, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper appetizing. Yolanda tells her that Kim was supposed to come, but cancelled at the last minute. Kyle is not surprised.
Kim meets with her therapist, and they discuss her relationship with Kyle. Kim is still hurt by their past, and how Kyle would put her issues on blast in front of others. He tells her that they only way they can work out their problems is if they face them head-on.
Lisa comes to Villa Blanca to try the new specials. While she’s there, Ken is at home, working with the housekeeper on an outdoor surprise for Lisa. They plant of bunch of pink flowers in the shape of a heart, and there’s a new pink flowery swing next to it. This is a very nice gesture from Ken, a gift of gratitude since he was so needy as she nursed him back to health after his hip replacement surgery.
When Lisa comes home, Ken and Giggy, in their matching sweaters, take Lisa outside to see the swing. She loves it, and hops on for a spin. As Ken pushes her back and forth, he reminds her that this year will mark their 30th wedding anniversary, and suggests that they renew their vows. Lisa is not normally the most affectionate person in the world. But the swing seems to have gotten to her, and she happily agrees.
Kyle invites the ladies out to a Moroccan restaurant where everyone sits on the floor. Despite having second thoughts about wearing a dress, she picks up her friend Marisa, and they meet Brandi at the restaurant. Brandi tells them that she had to get a lawyer that day, because she found out that Adrienne and Paul are suing her. Luckily the Nasifs are in New York and won’t be at dinner, but it would be nice to at least know WHY Brandi’s being sued. We still don’t fully know what it is the Brandi said about Adrienne that made her so upset, making this the biggest mystery in the history of Bravo.
Lisa, Ken, Yolanda, Camille, Taylor, Kim, Mauricio, and Marisa’s husband Dean arrive. Yolanda tells Kim that she and Kyle were waiting for her to show up for the cleanse, although saying “hi” first would’ve been nice. Kim says she doesn’t remember agreeing to come over, and that she can’t do the cleanse anyway. Yolanda and Kyle are taken aback. Why would someone not want to fast for days on end?
Once everyone’s settled down for dinner, Kim quietly tells Kyle that she wants to apologize for her part for the relationship going cold. Kyle apologizes for resenting her so much when she was drinking. They both say that they miss each other and want to move forward.
Lightening the mood, a boozy Taylor asks everyone in the room why the waiter hasn’t brought out any food. “He should get a kick in the ass!,” she says. Drunk, hungry Taylor is the best Taylor.
Kyle asks Yolanda where David is tonight, and she tells her he’s working with Barbra Streisand. Kyle and Kim tell Yolanda about the time they were in a movie with Barbra’s husband James Brolin when they were little.
Everyone starts talking about Adrienne’s lawsuit against Brandi. Mauricio suggests to Brandi that she could try talking to a lawyer that can make the legal papers go away. Taylor is annoyed with Adrienne for filing legal action against Brandi, when Adrienne previously stirred the pot with her and Russell. Camille tries to get Taylor to lower her voice, but Taylor only gets more emotional, holding an uncomfortable Brandi’s hand and talking about being strong women and blah, blah, blah. Well, Camille tried.
Brandi then gets mad when Mauricio tells her to just call Adrienne and finally apologize. He seems a tad annoyed that they’re even having this conversation. Ken steps in to defend Brandi, saying she’s got enough going on and shouldn’t have to also deal with Adrienne. Mauricio says it doesn’t matter, and that she needs to own up to what she said about Adrienne. She gets mad, and starts yelling about her children. “I did say that…I did say it. And was I pissed? Mother f*ck yes I was pissed,” Brandi yelled. “So go f*ck yourself. It’s about my kids, and it’s about my life. Seriously! So shut the f*ck up!”
Not sure where she is headed with this, but it looks like Mauricio does not care. Again, if we knew what exactly it was that Brandi said, we wouldn’t be so in the dark here.
