PIPPA MIDDLETON, SHE OF THE FAMOUS DERRIÈRE, PROVED ADEPT AT CUSHIONING VERBAL FAUX PAS when a tiny blonde upstart dissed princesses at a videotaped playdate.
Few need formal introductions to the bachlorette sister of Princess William, Duchess of Cambridge, Countess of Strathearn, Baroness Carrickfergus. For it was at her sister’s wedding where the world was famously introduced to “that ass.”
Of course, the commentary was more compliment than insult, for having been assigned to tend to Princess Kate’s wedding gown trail, it was Pippa’s own tail that captivated cameras worldwide.
Naturally, wanting to capitalize on that worldwide glare, the professional party planner penned Celebrate, a guide to party planning published by Viking. And it was during a publicity event in Fulham, England where Miss Middleton encountered shocking rudeness from a tiny competitor for camera time.
While feigning breezy chatter for the cameras, Pippa knowingly informed one 6-year old self-described tomboy that within four years she would “love” pink and princesses.
“I hate princesses,” sniffed a dismissive child as she nonchalantly continued affixing glue to her craft.
Pippa threw her head back and laughed, then uttered a cool, “Better not talk about that one.”
