Julian Assange Arrest Warrant: Black Propaganda At Work
IF YOU PAY CLOSE ATTENTION, YOU CAN SEE THE SHADOWS OF MILITARY SPOOKS serving notice to Julian Assange that the screws are tightening around him.
A Swedish prosecutor announced early Thursday that she was seeking an arrest warrant for the founder of WikiLeaks under the ruse of wanting to interrogate him on rape charges. No matter that the so-called "rape" was consensual sex without a condom, and that the accuser targeted Assange for a dalliance like a "groupie" does a "rock star," according to one newspaper account.
Assange, whose whistleblowing organization WikiLeaks has released hundreds of thousands of classified U.S. military documents since April, has been branded a threat to American national security, and news agencies have reported that the Obama Administration is pressuring foreign governments to "severely limit his nomadic travels across international borders."
In addition, the Department of Justice is also contemplating taking out charges against Assange.
Assange, 39, is staying in London after being denied permanent residency in Sweden last month. His attorney, Mark Stephens this morning released a statement excoriating Swedish prosecutors for their handling of the rape complaint, taken out by an as-yet unidentified woman.
"Over the last three months, despite numerous demands, neither Mr. Assange, nor his legal counsel has received a single word in writing from the Swedish authorities relating to the allegations,"’ Stephens’ statement reads. " …Despite his right to silence, my client has repeatedly offered to be interviewed, first in Sweden before he left, and then subsequently in the UK (including at the Swedish Embassy), either in person or by telephone, videoconferencing or email and he has also offered to make a sworn statement on affidavit.
"All of these offers have been flatly refused by a prosecutor who is abusing her powers," he asserted.
Stephens blasted the rape allegations as “false.”
“Indeed, three out of four web-pages that mention Mr. Assange’s name also now mention the word “rape” -- a direct result of incompetent and malicious behavior by Swedish government prosecutors. …Despite his innocence, and despite never having been charged, and despite never receiving a single piece of paper about the allegations against him, one in ten Internet references to the word 'rape' also include his name."
The suspicious handling of the allegation of an “obsessed” woman who deliberately engaged Assange is worrisome to free speech advocates who believe that America's best interests are served by revelations about how our wars are truly fought.
