Rolling Stone Explores The Magic & Mystery Of Mad Men
COMING SEPTEMBER 16TH: Rolling Stone's cover feature on what it hails the "best show on TV" -- Mad Men. Writer Eric Konigsberg says the drama has "established a hold on America's fantasy life like no show since The Sopranos."
To hype newsstand sales, the mag's released the cover art depicting lovies January Jones, Elisabeth Moss and Christina Hendricks sharing the back of a taxi with leading man Jon Hamm.
Creator Matthew Weiner tells the mag his intent is to explore the question of identity -- "Who am I? -- It's only the biggest theme in all of Western literature," he says. And for three seasons, the show's characters have wrestled with their own lies, deceipts, delusions and pride in search of answers.
