HERE’S A SNAP QUIZ ON SEXUAL ETIQUETTE RIPPED STRAIGHT FROM THE HEADLINES: Is it worse to have sex and tell — or to forget your sex partner’s name?
Today’s ethics debate comes compliments of Gerard Butler and Brandi Glanville. The notorious bad-boy actor revealed to Howard Stern Monday that he had no clue who the Real Housewife of Beverly Hills was when he hooked up with her at a Malibu bash last August. “It was a one-afternooner, but it was fun,” Butler told Stern. “She is wild.”
The Ex Mrs. Eddie Cibrian dished on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Next in January that she slept with Butler. She ranked him an “11” in bed and claimed their tryst lasted longer than an afternoon, saying they “had a little week of fun.”
Butler said he learned about Brandi’s loose lips by a paparazzo who asked him for a comment. “And you know what I said: ‘Who’s Brandi Glanville?'” Butler told Stern. “Because, one, I didn’t know her last name and, two, I didn’t know she was a celebrity and I didn’t know she was going to f–king tell people about it!”
Butler recounted how the two met: “Here’s the thing. You’re at a beach party, you’re having fun and this girl comes along. So, what do you do?’ She says, ‘Doesn’t matter.’ We hung out. We had a little bit of fun.”
He also revealed that he called her to complain that she spilled details of their romp — and to apologize. “I said one, ‘I’m not very happy you did that because there are certain things you keep a little private.’ And two, ‘I’m sorry I said I didn’t know who you were!'”
Sounds like the score is love.
