REMEMBER THIS NAME: Carly Rose Sonenclar. We’ll all talking about her in the future.
Sonenclar is the 13-year-old who gave thrills and chills on last night’s X Factor, and received beaucoup shoutouts on Twitter.
“carly rose needs to win #xfactor like really can we just skip to the end,” tweeted Rick Dillon. “Why is anyone else even in this competition?,” gushed Chicago’s Possessionista Dana Weiss. “Carly Rose for president.”
Even the notoriously critical Simon Cowell accused her of being inhumane for hitting the high notes in Celine Dion’s Heart Goes On while judge Demi Lovato said, “I don’t believe that that’s your voice. I feel like Celine Dion is here and she’s hiding.” The pretty brunette didn’t quite understand that Lovato was kidding.
Judge L.A. Reid told BritBrit,”It pains me to say this, it really does. I don’t want to say it but we could be looking at the winner.”
The New York native is already a professional singer and actress, having performed the lead role of Pearl in The Night of the Hunter at the New York Musical Theater Festival, according to Wikipedia. She’s also appeared on Broadway in Les Miserables as well as in the national tour of Little House on the Prairie the Musical. Win or lose The X Factor, she’s headed for a big-time recording career.
