HAPPY ENDINGS ARE BORING, WHICH IN PART EXPLAINS OF THE ETERNAL APPEAL OF MARILYN MONROE.

Born to a crazy mother, abandoned in an orphanage and bounced through foster homes, the troubled Norma Jeane Baker nevertheless morphed into the celluloid siren Marilyn Monroe.

But nearly 50 years after her untimely death, a curious public is still fitting together the fragmented pieces of her life. The latest contribution comes from the estate of Allan “Whitey” Snyder, Monroe’s makeup artist whose personal collection of photos of the star will be auctioned off March 31 at Julien’s Auction House.

Now Star reports that “Nick proposed to Krissy on March 10, and she said yes. Krissy said Nick is the only person she trusts in the world. They have a very deep connection.”

IF YOU’VE BEEN A CSI FAN FOR A FEW YEARS YOU’LL FONDLY REMEMBER “The Miniature Killer” series that premiered in the seventh season and continued until the suspect was finally captured at the very end.

The murderer built meticulous scale models to reflect each crime and left them at his murder scenes or sent them to persons involved with the cases. Victims were either bludgeoned, poisoned, or electrocuted and their blood was used as paint in each dollhouse model.

Until today I had no idea that that specific CSI series was Inspired by Chicago heiress Frances Glessner Lee who created 18 miniature crime scene dioramas that comprise what is known as the “The Nutshell Studies of Unexplained Death.”
